Good news to all who are eagerly awaiting for the Apple Inc.’s highly anticipated iPhone. The gadget is scheduled to hit the US market on June 29. This has been revealed by the TV commercials broadcast on Sunday and also confirmed by the company’s Web site.
Apple Inc.’s iPhone is one of the much talked after electronic gadgets. It is a blend of cell phone, media player and wireless Web-surfing device. The price depending on variety, configuration and range will be between $499 and $599. AT&T Inc.’s wireless division, previously known as Cingular, is the exclusive designated retailer of the iPhone in the US.
The iPhone is of the latest kind of electronic device in its segment and was made public with great fanfare in early January by Apple CEO Steve Jobs. It sports a touch-sensitive screen instead of keypad and have a trendy look.
The ads on TV on Sunday night showed off a number of revolutionary features in the iPhone and finished with the proclamation that the phone will be available ‘Only on the new AT&T’ and ‘Coming June 29.’
Though the Apple spokesman, Tom Neumayr confirmed the June 29 sale date, the An AT&T spokesperson is yet to break the news.
In recent months, the Apple Inc.’s stock has been served by rumors and anticipation over the iPhone. Shares of Apple’s stock have risen with every report of possible date for the gadget’s market foray.
