Going by the latest Reuters story the iPod + iTunes and Mac combine will soon manifest itself in the form of mobile phones. Bets are the phones will be called iphone.
The basis of this speculation is that on Jan 5,Apple has filed a U.S. Trademark for the phrase “Mobile Me”. In the USPTO’s list of goods and services, Apple has included both mobile communication and cellular in its application.
Hopefully we will get to see a better attempt than the Motorola iRokr phone. Something as sleek as iPod and as easy to use as the Mac.
