Dubbed as Camel 9 and sold with the slogan ‘Light and Luscious’ you would surely have come across their ads in glossy magazines and if lucky enough (manufacturers view) you could have even got across some free samples of them. Their advertising campaign has irked a number of people with regards to the target segment. It looks that besides regular adult female smokers it is attracting teenagers and young women in their early twenties and that is surely a cause of worry.
Let me tell you that lung cancer is the number one killer among females and I don’t need to remind you that cigarette is a major reason behind this. The company may say that it is a matter of choice but the manner in which the cigarette is being marketed will surely take young women in its trap.
