Kyle MacDonald has succeeded in a rare quest to barter one red paper clip to a double storey house. In a span of a year’s time and 14 trades, MacDonald was offered a two-storey house in Kipling, Sask, for a paid role in a movie.
MacDonald started his odyssey with bartering his paper clip for fish like pen. Then he bartered the fish pen for a handmade doorknob from a potter. In Massachusetts, he traded doorknob for a camp stove. In addition, the stove was traded for 100-watt generator.
Then the generator was traded off with a instant party kit. At the end of the show, he got a Kiss snow globe that landed him work in a movie Corbin Brensen movie in lieu of the globe.
