The concept of telecommuting was the latest buzzword of corporate work culture until very recently. The exuberance was however short-lived when it sparked off a debate on the relevance of the concept of telecommuting.
Increasing number of people are disillusioned with telecommuting in order to keep their private and working life distinctively separate.
In a situation when gas price is soaring, surprisingly it has been learnt that people are still not willing to telecommute. As a better fact, people are not ready to mix up their working life with their private life.
On the other hand, it has also been argued that people do not want any interference of personal life in their work place or vice versa.
