Largest facility in South America opened by Satyam Computers

Satyam Computers, one of the biggest IT outsourcing companies of India has reached South America and it has opened its largest facility out there with the inauguration of a 4,500 square foot development centre in Sao Paulo. From their Latam center the company is already serving its customers in Brazil and other South American countries and is offering ERP and application outsourcing services. This center would be complementing their other centers in Asia, Africa, North America and Eastern Europe. It will be serving as their headquarters for their South American operations. This is just the beginning of the investments in the continent and the company has other plans for Brazil too. It looks that the company is operating on the law of averages since it is willing to take advantage of the cost benefits of various continents. This can be termed as a smart move since outsourcing is all about bringing costs under control but has India lost the competitive advantage in the outsourcing world?
