Microsoft has sought feedback from testers of Windows Vista on the user interface’s ‘fit and finish’. Dave Vronay, Research Manager, in Windows Client team blog said;

Fit & Finish is really getting a big push for Vista, with lots of people spending time tracking down the minor errors and glitches that haven’t historically been ’ship-stopping’ but certainly contribute to a feeling that things are not polished. You can participate by providing your feedback on the various pre-release versions of Vista.

Microsoft has set up a forum called “Windows Vista Rants & Raves” to take users’ comments.

Incidentally, Microsoft has sought user feedback on Vista for the second time in last seven days. On Sunday Vista team posted an online poll where testers can vote on whether they think the operating system is read.

Vista has been plagued by long delays and snags. Now Microsoft is pushing hard to see that the January 2007 release deadline stays.

Let us see how the much-hyped Vista eventually turns out to be. It is long overdue now.
