Recently IDs of 55,000 of guests of the popular Bahamas resort Atlantis were stolen.
Among the information items stolen were names, addresses, credit card details, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers and bank account data. They belong to mainly American tourists.
The Hotel has wisely alerted affected customers in writing so they can prepare to protect themselves from possible identify fraud. It is also providing a free credit monitoring service for a year.
