U.S. Senator Ron Wyden made an announcement today that major telecommunications legislation has been placed under a ‘hold’ unless understandable language is comprised in the legislation in order to put off discrimination in Internet access.
The currently written legislation was lately agreed upon by the Senate Commerce Committee denying an effectual policy on net neutrality, instead of opening the Internet up to large telecommunications companies and cable supplier with a view to charging consumers and small business biased and new fees on top of those they already charge for Internet access.
