What’s more, O’Reilly has granted permission to convene the conference with the term ‘Web 2.0′. O’Reilly has received fierce criticism recently from every quarter on its conduct over the issue.
Moreover, O’Reilly was quick to maintain that Web 2.0 is a service mark of the company and other future conferences, which would use the term Web 2.0 will have to take prior permission from the company.
