The aviation sector is pretty hot in India and as a result a number of companies are looking to jump into this sector to realize its potential. A number of low cost airlines have already mushroomed in the country and now SUN TV which is a private broadcasting company plans to enter this booming industry. It is planning to commence domestic and international aviation services for commercial and non commercial purposes. The company has already stated in a release to BSE that it would be seeking the approval of shareholders for entering the aviation industry.
A decision in this respect is expected next month and it also has plans to operate and offer chartered domestic and international aviation services besides scheduled services for commercial and non commercial purposes in India and abroad.
Now the question is with so many companies planning to enter the aviation sector how many of them will be able to survive in the market where the supply may exceed the demand.
