The U.S. aviation industry is in desperate need of using new strategy in order to establish their brand name among its customers. The problem is the brand royalty which pioneered the aviation industry till few years back, no longer working to its benefit.

According to consultants, there is a clear decline of passengers who used single carrier due to the fact that the industry has changed drastically in few years. The changes have been marked as diminishing of popular frequent flyer programs, the rise of low-cost airlines and the restructuring of almost all major airlines.

Almost all the airlines resorted to diluting or abolishing in-flight benefits in order to maximize their profit. But on the other side this very policy helped them to loose their regular customers as resulted in the erosion of brand loyalty in the industry.

Brand loyalty has been spotted taking downward movement in the year 2001 and showing no sign of recovering at least this time around.
