Wal-Mart traditionally and practically is not considered good for small businesses. They are famous for driving small businesses out of their way and force them to close or change their businesses. The retail giant Wal-Mart’s large capital base and their negotiating strategies help them to outmaneuver their rivals in almost every field.
However, for many it would come as a shock if they learn that Wal-Mart is also involved in helping small businesses as well. Wal-Mart helps small businesses by making them business partners through its Sam’s Club division. Sam’s Club at present having 570 independently owned club stores.
Wal-Mart helps small business, being more specific the business partners from Sam’s Club, in making their web sites, credit card transaction, pay employees and granting loans to them of course on a cheaper rate. Wal-Mart’s strict negotiating tactics with suppliers have been used to benefit its small business partners.
