Chris Gilmer has analyzed three types of Google jobs to see if any of them are for ‘regular’ smart, educated capable people.
The three job types and their requirements are:
1. Software Engineers: The job most people are gunning for. You need a Ph.d and some unique piece of mind, don’t mind the language.
2. PR Manager: Easy Job if you have 4+ years of experience. The brand already generates reams of mostly positive press as long as it gets sensible with from China and Click-fraud.
3. AdWords Training Specialist: People with media-selling and client-relations experience are good fit. The company is moving into a host of other media formats- including Radio and Print.
So, why is it so hard to get a job at Google? It reminds me of the heady days of mid-nineties when Microsoft was famous for hiring smart people. Its interviews were legendary. Now the same thing applies to Google: you must ace the interview.
I suggest you all must Google ‘Google Job Interview ‘ before you go in for your interview.
